About Me

Hi I’m David Allen (some people call me Dave).

I’m an ICB certified bookkeeper and a holder of the ICB Payroll Management Diploma (PM Dip).

I have over 15 years of Bookkeeping experience across a wide range of businesses. I have helped my clients to improve their financial control and have enabled them to make more confident business decisions.

In 2024, I was proud to be shortlisted as a finalist in the ICB LUCA awards (Payroll Professional of the Year), recognising excellence within the bookkeeping profession.

In recent years I have seen the same challenges come up. Business owners need accurate, reliable financial information to make the right decisions for their businesses. They want confidence that their accounts and books are accurate, under control, organised, and compliant. That’s where I come in to give them this confidence, by keeping their records accurate, deadline met, and finances well organised. while also providing clear, practical insight into how their business is performing.

I believe I should go further than to just make your business compliant. I will always try and explain things in plain English to help you understand the numbers to give you the clarity you need to make confident business decisions.

The services I can offer for sole-traders. I will always work with the sole-trader, so they fully understand their accounts.

Limited Companies

The services I can offer Limited companies. I will always work with the directors and management of the company so they fully understand the company accounts.

VAT and Taxation

I am fully compliant to file VAT returns. I am fully compliant to complete and file Self-Assessment, and Corporation tax returns.
